Bold, vibrant, and unlike any other wine in New Mexico, Ollpheist is crafted from five rare heirloom grape varieties—Baco Noir, Leon Millot, Regent, Rougenne, and Carignan—preserving a remarkable piece of viticultural history. Sourced from heritage vineyards in Albuquerque's North Valley, South Valley, and Abiquiú, this one-of-a-kind blend bursts with aromas of toasted spice, ripe raspberry, and bright red cherry. The palate is juicy and expressive, layering black cherry, raspberry, and blackberry with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, cracked black pepper, and bittersweet cocoa. Bright acidity and polished tannins create a wine that is both energetic and beautifully balanced, finishing long with vibrant fruit and savory spice. Rich in history and unmistakably New Mexican, Ollpheist is as unforgettable as the story behind its name.
